"I went through the mail the other day and for the first
time I can ever remember, didn’t end up with a pile on the
desk!!! I am beginning not to ‘dread’ the mail so
much anymore."

"I just wanted to thank you for all that you have done
for me--you literally changed my life! I had no idea I could ever
really be organized. I've had organizers come into my office before
and organize it, but a week later it was back to the old habits.
You showed me a system that works and that I can use in all areas
of my home. I truly believe that having you walk me through this
process and clearing the clutter out of my life opened the space
for the new business that came into my life. Plus,
I can manage it without being stressed out about how to organize
and manage everything. I really appreciate that you not only transformed
my office but that you showed me how to do it and how to keep
it going. Sometimes people ask me how much it cost to go through
this process and my answer always is, "I don't know, but
whatever I spent it was worth it, because the cost of not doing
it was far greater."
I so enjoy working with you and your decisiveness, your knowledge
and your get-down-to-business attitude. Plus you never seemed
shocked by my clutter! You have truly been a blessing to me!"

"Get Organized. It was a great idea. It was something I
needed to do. It was a promise I made to myself every year. I
knew my day and my life would go smoother if I was. I knew my
home-based business would prosper if I was. Yet I just couldn’t
get it done, not by myself.
Some people seem to have been born with a natural ability to
be organized. I’m married to one of those people. I watched
him. I tried to copy what he was doing, but I always reverted
back to my bad habits. Hold onto everything, because if you throw
it away, you’ll need it. Paper is my natural enemy. If I’m
in a hurry, it goes in a pile. When in doubt, it goes in a pile.
When the pile gets too big, it’s time to start another pile.
I even convinced myself that if I needed a certain piece of paper,
I knew right where it was in the pile.
In my line of business I meet many people. I can always tell
who is organized. In January of 2000, I met Angela Ploetz, and
I was immediately impressed. She is on time, has a place for everything
and everything runs smoothly when we work together. Little did
I know, after working with each other once a year for six years,
she would be the person who would simplify everything in my life.
Last year I found that my life was out of control. Years of being
unorganized had caught up with me. I had been on three different
trips and every time I came home, everything got dumped in my
office. Those piles were everywhere. Pretty soon I could barely
walk in the room. I hated working there and soon carried my laptop
to the kitchen table and set up my “mobile office.”
It didn’t take long until there were new piles popping up
on the kitchen table. I knew it wasn’t working, but didn’t
know what to do. Then Angela called to tell me about her new business
and asked if I would let her organize a room in my house.
We started by taking pictures. We set a vision for how I wanted
the room to be. Being honest, I never thought the room would ever
actually be the way I described it. Angela was so patient, helping
me through the system she uses for reclaiming and reshaping the
room. The whole experience was just like a TV show I like to watch
when trying to motivate myself to clean things up, except the
whole world didn’t have to see my mess. It was a surprisingly
emotional process. She was very understanding and supportive but
appropriately firm, reminding me of my goals when necessary. We
worked side by side, and she would challenge my thought process
if my packrat mentality reared its ugly head. I took her suggestions
to heart and we even changed the furniture to improve the work
flow.
When we were finished, the transformation was amazing. I look
forward to going into my office. Even though it’s where
I go to work, it’s also my own little sanctuary. My children
were shocked that they could see the floor, my husband was impressed
and everyone who saw the before and after pictures wants to know
how on earth I did it. I can honestly say I couldn’t have
done it without Angela. However, since then, I’ve taken
my new mindset and the system she taught me and organized my office
closet, filing system and even under my bathroom sink! Then I
taught the system to my 8-year-old son and together we transformed
his room from a jumbled mess to a place he loves to play in and
keeps clean all by himself. I’m slowly transforming the
messy hot spots in my home into organized spaces. Angela helped
keep me on track during our follow-up session. Having an organized
home has also inspired me to be more organized with my time. Hiring
Angela was not only the best business decision I could have made,
it was the best decision I could have made for my family.
Thanks again for everything, Angela! If I hadn’t gone through
this process I wouldn’t have been prepared for my career
change. I really feel like by clearing the clutter I opened myself
to a new opportunity. You’re the best!"

Workshop Attendee
"I just wanted to drop you a note to let you know how much
I enjoyed your Basic Organization Workshop. I was especially impressed
with the printed materials that you provided to us during the
meeting. Not only were they extremely well done and helpful that
day, but I have kept them and refer to them often. Anytime I want
to start a new organization project, I use them to refresh my
memory on the basics of first, emptying my cluttered mind and
then beginning the planning and execution phases.
I thoroughly enjoyed my morning with you and the other attendees.
The amount of information imparted was just enough to be absorbed,
but plenty to take home and apply on a daily basis. I was also
encouraged by your acknowledgement of the emotional side of 'letting
go' of clutter."
Thanks again,
Kathy
